Cristie Blazer is hearing impaired Actress. She was born on December 6 in Denton, Texas and raised in Denton, Allen and
Mc Kinney, all in Texas.
She was born partly deaf with some hearing left ear and blind in the left eye. Also, she has worn a hearing aid since she was age four. She was always been able to lip read but had to be taught American Sign Language. This is very rare for deaf person, she has normal speech with slight speech impairment which is amazing because of her severe hearing loss. She attended public schools.
She started her training on stage at the age ten by studying dance - ballet, tap, jazz and belly dance for seven years. While she was taking dancing, she became involved with four years of Art in middle school and high school, choir in junior high school for one year and drama for three years in high school.
Cristie played the Lead "Linda - Deaf Woman" in the movie "The Many Strange Stories of Triangle Woman". She played "Christine" in the movie "Geeta In Paradise" and "Velita' in the movie "Bicycle Bobby". She was in background in the other movies and TV shows - Rain, Ian Blackwell and The Bicycle Chain Occurrence, Date.CON, Mary Kay, Inspector Mom, Barney and Friends, and Eye for An Eye.
In the theatre, Cristie played "Old Mother Hubbard" in the show called "The Trial of Big Bad Wolf".
Cristie is Irish, Scotch, Native American Indian and Anglo American.
